My fear, Bailey , CHRISTMAS

I havent blogged in a while but I'm starting again now! Well, I've been having some fears with riding horses. I was riding friday and Saturday night and I rode one of the horses named Sirlap. He is an flea bitten grey Arabian. Friday night I rode him and I just did pole bending,barrell racing, and walking around the arena. I finally had the courage to lope. Then on Saturday night I did the same. I rode him bare back just for fun and jogged him a little bit and I had so much fun. Sirlap has helped me overcome my fear.
Bailey is a horse I rode when I was little. He is a pony with an additude. Riding him is how I got my barn name. Once we were doing a jog or lope line and I kicked him just a little bit and he bucked! Any time you kick or squeeze him he bucks so his barn name is Bucking Bailey and my barn name is Rodeo because I stuck his buck. He is coming to the barn!!!! I am so incredibly excited. I can finally ride out of the arena with my friends and wherever else he wants to go. He is an exciting horse to ride too.
We all know Christmas is just around the corner. It is actually just 26 days away. We are putting up our Christmas tree today and mom is putting her Christmas china up right now. Christmas is my favorite holiday, not because of all the presents but it is Jesus' birthday. My favorite part of Christmas is spending time with family and friends,looking at lights, and Christmas trees and decorations. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Charlett rugby, and pumkins

Well my uncle chad is in a wheel chair and he had a Quad Rugby tournament in Charlotte. Last weekend was awesome! His coach has a daughter and we make signs for his team. We made a offense and defense and then just a team sign they were super colorful!! Carolina Crash won 2 games they did good! We went to a BBQ place and then Bass Pro Shops. When we got back we carved pumpkins we made a cat on it well a cat on a broom. We cheated we printed out a cat on a broom and poked holes and then cut it out there was 347 seeds in the pumpkin. The Pool

Well, Grandma and Papa closed their pool yesterday. It was interesting to watch. They used a big machine to break up the CONCRETE and the pool, then they still used that same thing to start putting in the dirt. They had to push down a few trees with the same thing and it didn't even look like it was hard for it to do. After that they cleared off the bank. Eli was rode his bike down the dirt hill and he wants to keep it cleared off. I want to put a tarp over it and make it a water slide=)!!!!! Grandma says she wants the ivy back. The men got a Bob Cat to finish the job. I am sad and happy about the pool I wish it was still there but it will be a really pretty garden. Eli wants to dig to make it a ramp for his bike. I want to make it in to a place where you could sleep for camp outs. It has been super fun having it with all the games we made up in it like the life guard game, the hair game, making our hair like George Washington, Marco Polo, swimming at my birthday parties, playing cops and Robbers with the water proof party light. Now we have to find another place to swim. Beka.*

heartattack

Well, my papa can not stay out of the hospital. He had a heart attack May 27 (the day before my mom's birthday) he found out he needed open heart surgery. After he got home the fun began. He got a kidney stone first, then a piece of metal in his eye, then his gout started bothering him and he could not walk, then he had another kidney stone had to get stints put in his kidneys(so they postponed his heart surgery so he was disappointed because he could not go to YAM camp and he loves bluegrass music) he came up to listen Tuesday night to listen to the music but he got a blood clot and had to go to the emergency room,then finally he had his open heart surgery. After that he was recovering VERY well, he even started therapy. Well then guess what he had ANOTHER HEART ATTACK!!!!!!! He was supposed to go to the Pride camp ground before his first heart attack, well he had his second heart attack at 2:00 in the morning August 29 so he is in the hospital. The dr had to replace two bypasses with stints. He was supposed to go to the Pride today but he is still in the hospital. Papa has had no luck this summer!!!! So that is all for now.

I got a nook color!!!!! I love it i am blogging on it! It is soooo cool. I got a nook for my birthday the guy who sold it to my grandma told her i can play games, but you can't so i got a nook color. I have pandora ,facebook,blogspot, anything on the internet i'm going to get angry birds and hangman. So it is totally AWESOME!!!!!! I have one book on here that it will read it to you my brother LOVES it!!! Well that is all for today

Beka boogie is busy

Game night-
We had a game day at Dogwood Terrace Stables. We did Barrel Racing, Pole Bending and Texas Barrels. It was a big night for me because I gave up my first horse Jasmine. I knew Bruiser was the best person because Jasmine loves her. After I did it Bruiser was jumping up and down. I knew it was the right thing then. I know Bruiser not as a friend but as a sister. Mrs. Ginny gave me a horse that I am working with named Khara. I love her, She took me on a trail ride on the mountain a few days ago, when we got back I got off and she hugged me and let out a neigh and I said "NEIGH you to girl" My mom got a horse named Sassy. It is hard to catch her but she will run up to her WITH a lead rope and halter!!!!!!!!!! Sassy loves her. That is all for today but I will write more soon.

Rodeo, Business, May Hay Day, Hay

Business has fired up!! I have a traveling business and sell earrings for now. At our annual May Hay Day Saturday I made $55! Then I went to the Marietta High School Rodeo, and it was soooooo fun. I saw a horse that was at the barn a while ago his name is or was Doc. I don't know what his name is now though. At May Hay Day we made about $600. Our goal was $1400 so we were way off, but it was $600 we didn't have. Last but not least, hay. I went with Ginny and Daniel to pick up hay and I saw Mr. Tankersly baling the hay. There was like a trailer sort of thing hooked to the back of his tractor. It would collect the hay. After there was enough hay collected it would come out with the hay string on it and everything. Then we had to put all the good hay in the "scary" part of the barn. Some of the bales of hay were busted so we gave it to the horses then we got to ride !!!! I rode Jasmine in my new saddle. We paid $20 for my saddle and it is perfect. I love it because it holds me in good and it is really comfortable. As you can read I had a really cool week. Hopefully this week will be as exciting as the last.

THE BIG NIGHT

Hey everybody,
Yesterday I was talking about playing Jesus loves me in front of a lot of people and well it was 1400 people. My friend and I did. I played my mandolin and she sang. We were on SIX BIG SCREENS!!!!!!! Both of us!!!!!! We walked in and both of our eyes got HUGE. We got to do a SOUND CHECK!!!!!! My friend's name is Sarah and she has a beautiful voice!! It was VERRRRY SCARRRY!!!!!! After we finished we went in the lobby and people stopped and told us we did well and wanted me to play more, so I did. I played Waiting for the Federals and Angeline the Baker, oh and flop Eared Mule. I love Bluegrass music. Well that's all for now.

Hey,I'm Bekah from the blog out of the box (you should check it out) it's my moms blog now. This is what has gone on in my life in the past few days. Well my great grandmother died and I played amazing grace at her funeral on my mandolin. Tomorrow I am going to play Jesus Loves Me in front of a good many people. I'm pretty nervous about that.
